Our philosophy
We wish you to feel like at home
The history of the house began in 2005 when Juan felt in love with the area and people , then bought this land to build the house we have now. Since 2013 it is a guest house : “Casa de huespedes Los Olivos” with a very strange particularity, it has only two bedrooms for a big house and a huge land.
Why is that?
We do not like for ourself the concept of hotel, neither boutique hotel with 5 to 10 bedrooms. The real luxury is the space, this is for this reason when we travel we essentially go to apartment or in a guest house like we have.
What do that mean a guest house ?
Technically we have two bedrooms totally independent and they can be rented separately. In that case, you will have a neighbour who is going to be in 5000 square meters of garden at the same time as you. Everything is though to have, for each couple who are coming, a total privacy. Very often, you might encounter some very interesting people and eventually come back together as friends. Yes !it happened. If not, you will be just sharing some moment in the same garden or swimming pool.
When the two bedrooms are rented together, you have the entire house and the entire land just for you. It sounds more like a classical house rental with a big difference : the services we provide daily.
The services
Offering a daily cleaning of the house sound perfectly normal, but we maintain as well on a daily basis the garden , the swimming pool, the jacuzzi, the summer kitchen …
Don’t worry, if you don’t want to see us, we will be more than discreet or almost hidden
We actually live on the same land in another house at the extreme opposite of the main house without any visual contact. We are flexible and will access the house and the garden at a concerted time and convenient for you, usually around 12/14 pm.
The location
The house is at about 500 meters of the first beach and in between Chipiona ( 5 minutes away) and Sanlucar de Barrameda (10 minutes away). We are on the country side in between two very active cities and we do like very much the peace and tranquility we encounter every day. To us it is the perfect location because it is close to everything and very quiet.
The land
As you can see on the different pictures, the land is composed of a frutal tree area (about 1000 sq m), a green garden where the house and swimming pool are (about 2500 sq m), an olive tree area (about 500 sq m), and a big vegetable garden where we have our house.
