Weather of Jerez is undoubtably a big asset all the year long, we include you here after a link where you can find all the statistic and possible details about it :
December to February nights are cold not because of the very low temperature but more for the humidity that enter your bones. Make sure of the heating system you will have in your apartment ! For instance in ours depending of the apartment, we have in between 3KW to 6KW. Lunch time (1 to 5 pm) you will enjoy a terrace outside with a sweater or a little more and for dinner time you will need more a polar to be comfortable in the street. Rain is usually not such a big issue. We do not have usually entire week of grey sky and rain, just an annoying heavy shower. Bear in mind asking in your apartment if they leave an umbrella !
March to May/ October to November during day time forget your sweater and choose a T-shirt directly, during the night you will still enjoy your sweater. Doing your washing machine in the apartment and tending outside it will cost you an hour and a half to have everything dry.
June to September you are going to become a specialist for hunting shadow walking in the streets. More seriously, T-shirt will be the only thing you need, you will prefer terrace on the shadow and going out late in the evening. Bear in mind that night remain cool 20/25 degrees that will allow to sleep well. Powerful, noiseless Air condition system is not an option, neither one meter thick wall of your house but everybody do not offer house from the past centuries ! Doing your washing machine in the apartment and tending outside it will cost you 20 minutes to have everything dry.
A couple of things you can keep in mind
Going to the coast (20 minutes away to Sanlucar de barrameda, Chipiona, El puerto de Santa maria) you will loose 3/5 degrees all the year
Going to Sevilla (an hour away) or Granada, Cordoba, you will gain 5/10 degrees all the year. Yes! spending daytime with 45 degrees and the night with 30 degrees is difficult. This is mostly for that reason that august is totally off.
